This is a fuel enhancement system and, because it's not permanent, is not considered to be a modification (it’s no different to putting a high octane fuel in your tank). For this reason it should not affect your insurance premium or warranty. NOTE: All insurance companies require you to inform them of any changes/modifications made to your vehicle, and when doing so, we advise you to indicate that this is not a "nitrous kit". In addition, we have had feedback from some of our customers who say that their insurance companies are happy with our system and that this enhancement has been added to their insurance policy at no extra charge! This system is safe as no Hydrogen is stored and is only produced when the ignition switch is on. The system is fuse-link protected and fitted with a temperature monitor which will cut the power to the system if the temperature of the atmosphere rises too much, this is an extra safety device in case of very hot weather and hold ups in busy traffic. Lower emissions are achieved as the Hydrogen and Oxygen assists the fossil fuel used to "burn" more efficiently. Vehicles which store gas come under the vehicle special order regulations (VSO) Jubycells do not store gas, so are exempt. Jubycell Hydrogen Fuel Cells are covered by our Product liability Insurance which is the only Hydrogen System that has this! And what's more, our prices start from just £350.
